Max's is definitely on an upswing! I never used to go to this place because the food was overpriced and not that good. Decided to give it another try and have had several positive experiences since then. They have a great happy hour menu! The food is well prepared and seasoned well. The atmosphere has always been great and still is. Very excited to have this back as a go to spot!

Buffalo cauliflower is 100/10 so flavorful and crispy. I always get a raspberry whiskey lemon dro martini when Healy makes it is the best the other bartenders try but haven't gotten it just right lol nevertheless they all are always so polite and friendly. It is our go to spot on a weekday. P.s the mini cheddar biscuits are to die for

I'm traveling for work and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, so decided to give this a try based on proximity. Being by a tourist attraction, I did not expect this to be anything special but I was proven wrong. I sat at the bar because I was alone and received excellent service from the bartender, Matt. I ordered a glass of white wine from the happy hour menu and then ordered the chili that was on the fall menu and a chopped salad with steak for my meal. They brought me bread with my chili and it may be the best thing I've ever had. It's like a cheesy biscuit with a sweet honey butter and it was divine. The chili had sweet potato in it and was delicious! I ordered a glass of red wine to have with my chili and steak and it was a perfect pairing. When my salad came I was actually already feeling full from the chili and bread but the salad looked amazing with fresh veggies and a perfectly cooked steak, so I continued to indulge. It was a really large portion so I couldn't finish it, but literally was the best meal I've had in long time. I enjoyed sitting at the bar, watching sports and chatting with some of the locals. Service was excellent and attentive. Food was some of the freshest I've had in awhile and hit the spot. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. I hope to come back on business so I can have another meal:)

Great lunch and always the perfect place to have lunch or dinner with family or friends I highly recommend Max's great prices and amazingly service and special shout out to our server Jackie who made our 3 hour lunch with family a great experience, nice array of beverages and specials, a special mention to the Faroe Island salmon cooked perfectly as ordered and a nice crispy crust on the skin. The fish and chips were great and the portion fit for a burly hungry fisherman. Our favorite place to take guests when in the Springfield area.

This is in a commercial site next to the NBA Hall of Fame, and the concrete jungle on the outside gives way to a relaxing interior. I got better service than I expected, with my needs met, our party's allergies taken care of, and when I dumbed down the pronunciation of "mercimek" to avoid misunderstandings I was corrected with what I think is the proper Turkish pronunciation. And it was a respectable dish as well; I don't know that the Turks serve their lentil soup with crispy kale or pumpernickel croutons, but judging from my gustatory experience, they should. Obviously this isn't a huge vegetarian place, but the grain bowl I got was a worthy offering marked by some delightful little maitaake mushrooms. The non-alcoholic ginger-based beverage I got was satisfying, as was my cinnamon tea and a single profiterole with strawberry ice cream that had a significant amount of strawberries in it. I found their chairs uncomfortable for my dodgy back, but from a food and service perspective, they provided a good experience, better than I expected.

Great choices, delicious entrees & great service. Pleasantly surprised with wait time on a busy day. Definitely the best choice of the restaurants available in that area; Basketball Hall of Fame. Our drinks were also spot on! Will definitely return, loved it!
